Habanero Salmon Poke Bowl Recipe

Habanero Salmon Poke Bowl
Salmon Poke Bowl with Habanero Mayo

Living in Arizona I love making Poke bowls for lunch or dinner. The cold veggies and salmon help me relax from the 110-degree weather. Easy to create and so fulfilling. These bowls started to become increasingly popular, making their way from Hawaii.

Poke has many similar ingredients to sushi, cucumber, avocado, rice, and salmon. We spice up the dish by creating a habanero mayo, using Sonoran Spice Habanero Powder. Habanero has a pleasant flavor profile known for its fiery burn and tropical taste. If you add too much habanero powder you can ease the burn using our guide that has tips on how to reduce pepper burn.

Adding fresh cucumber is going to add the crunch and texture this meal needs. Cucumbers promote hydration and are high in nutrients. The Avocado is rich in potassium, fiber and can assist in lowering blood pressure. There is always a risk to eating raw fish, you should always use sushi-grade salmon.
