Fajitas are a classic, great for any meal, and are easy to make! Fajitas are one of my favorite meals as they are full of veggies and you can add in protein. The veggies alone such as bell peppers, onions, and in our case the extra spicy Ghost Pepper which really packs a lot of great benefits. Bell peppers contain vitamins and have a low-calorie count, they also have a sweeter flavor. The sweet flavor of the bell pepper is a good balance to the spicy heat of Sonoran Spice Ghost Pepper Powder. Ghost pepper It clocks in at over 1 million Scoville Heat Units, which’s up to 300 times hotter than a Jalapeno!
The great thing about fajitas is that they are versatile. In our recipe, we are going to use chicken breast, but really you can substitute for steak, shrimp, or no meat at all. Some other ways you can spice up or add to the dish are toppings, such as sour cream, sliced avocado or guacamole, salsa, or lime juice. Add spicy Mexican rice or beans as a side dish with some cheese…yummy! These fajitas are great for any meal, make it a breakfast scramble, serve at lunch or dinner this is one that you can use as often as your heart desires.
